After school treatments will give priority to non-Chapin High School students (CMS, SHHS, Home School, CATE, etc.). Student athletes and parents may e-mail the trainers at the contact information below for appointments.
Dylan Baker, M.S., LAT, ATC
“Dylan is Dylan” – Dylan Baker is originally from Moncks Corner, SC Dylan got his undergrad in athletic training at Charleston Southern University. After graduation he worked in Georgia for two years at Brooks County High School while obtaining his masters in exercise science. Dylan joined the Chapin family in 2020 and taught his first 2 years teaching health science, medical terminology and sports medicine. He is currently in his 5th year at Chapin High School and working to obtain his second masters degree in educational administration.

Nicole Herring, LAT, ATC
Originally from Texas, Nicole got her B.S. in Athletic Training at the University of South Carolina. She worked at Prisma Health in the orthopedics clinic and was the head athletic trainer at W.J. Keenan High School for 3 years before coming here to Chapin in the Fall of 2023.

Matthew Zittel, LAT, ATC
Though born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Matthew spent most of his upbringing near Massillon,Ohio. He earned his B.S. in Athletic Training from Slippery Rock University in western Pennsylvania, graduating in the spring of 2020 right after the start of COVID-19 lockdowns. He then found work as an Athletic Training Intern with the University of South Carolina and later took a full time position with Prisma Health in the summer of 2021. He joined the Chapin High School Sports Medicine team at the end of October 2023.
